The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the last flamboyant track animal out of all the front engine Corvettes. Derived from the mind-bogglingly powerful Z06, Chevrolet threw out the LT4 V8 engine and stuck in a more potent LT5 V8 engine equipped with a 2.6-liter Eaton supercharger that is 52% larger than that of the Z06 Corvette along with a new fuel injection system. These levels of performance meant the ZR1 needed more cooling which resulted in large vents in the front bumpers and even on the hood. A larger intercooler and four more radiators brought the total count to a whopping thirteen. This particular ZR1 Corvette we have today comes equipped with the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, Battery Protection Package and the feisty Track Performance Package.

Exterior and Interior
Dressed in the iconic Torch Red body paint with exposed carbon fiber elements, this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is a force to be reckoned with. Especially with the ZR’s aero package that was developed in collaboration with Pratt & Miller Corvette racing team in the wind tunnel. This package includes a large rear wing attached directly to the chassis, a front underbody spoiler, and a sizable front splitter to keep this Corvette glued to the floor. The Carbon Flash Painted Aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires will also aid this beast on sticking to the asphalt. Moreover, you get the outside mirrors painted in Carbon Flash and the brake calipers in a flashy red. Inside the Jet Black cockpit, you sit on Competition Sport seats that will keep you stuck in place through fast corners. The 3ZR in the name means this ZR1 will come equipped with all the luxurious amenities and equipment offered by Chevrolet.

Engine
Under the long hood of this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is a potent 6.2-liter pushrod LT5 V8 engine equipped with a 2.6-liter Eaton supercharger. Mated to an 8-speed GM 8L90 automatic transmission, this track monster is capable of producing upto a reported 755 horsepower and 969 Nm of torque that helps to propel this C7 Corvette to a reported top speed of 214 mph.
